week 15- Organizational Communications, Climate and Work-Related Outcomes

This webposter is very again very interesting and focus on the relationship between job satisfaction an organizational communication. After reading this webposter i found that i did not think of organizational communication to play a role in loyalty and job satisfaction. The classic research was presented very well and was very impressive and i found the measure of communication satisfaction very interesting, i am talking about the eight factors that are used to measure communication satisfaction. I learnt that organizational climate also plays a major role in job satisfaction and is connected to so many constraints. The conclusion does justice to the topic and is able to communicate the take away's of the webposter.

I had not read this web poster until I read this review. It did a good job of explaining the correlation between job satisfaction and organizational communication.

Realistically, lack of organizational communication is a recipe for frustration. Having clear channels of communication is tantamount for optimal operations. Without this clear communication, employees become silo'd and stew in their own frustration.

My worst job was a government position where the processes were set in stone and communication between departments limited. We would act as an agent to help customers who were inconvenienced from another department. Many times, a simple change in scheduling would fix the situation, but I was told repeatedly... "that is not how the process works". As a result, I became a bitter bitter employee and resented my job. I loved my manager and go back to visit around once a year. Nothing has changed...

Organizational communication is the key to successful inter-connectivity of the many components of a company.
